...oh look, there goes another post on the mastodon, another moan (that is what social media is for after all) about the tech of the modern world, being that mastodon is full of the fists shaken at clouds people of a certain vintage, tech-adjacent but old enough now to HATE it, "my toothbrush will not let me turn it on to clean my teeth until it has performed an update, haha, what a load of inconvenient rubbish the modern world is, haha, what a waste of human ingenuity" to which the only reply crossing the deserted wastes of mind is "what the hell are you even doing BUYING a toothbrush – a TOOTHBRUSH! – that can connect to ANYTHING?, how are you choosing to own a toothbrush – a TOOTHBRUSH! – that can connect to the internet in the first place? WHAT FOR?"...the cure is in all our hands in the first place, hands that don't hold on to connected toothbrushes that are connected to a mind that chose not to buy another bloody connected toothbrush.. a TOOTHBRUSH!...
