stream...the tale of the missing mouse with the tail – yes, the mouse still has its tail, even in these wireless desktop times, no need for batteries, charging, or dongles, which older keyboard and mouse wiremore technology is happy without, so it's never seemed an improvement to go sans wires to me – which got wrapped and tangled around the under-screen shelf unit and had no more slack so wouldn't move the cursor on screen as far as it needed to go, so a solution that had thus far not crossed my tiny brain finally occurred to me, because for years, YEARS, the mouse was to the right of the keyboard – because the PC tower was on the right of the desk when I shared it with family who were all right-handed – but MY PC at MY desk now, without family – they are fine by the way, they've just moved out now they're grown up – the PC box is on the left, but the mouse was still on the right, cable threaded under the screen-shelf, most often used with my left hand, pulling it towards me in a crossed arms contorting idiot manner – although operating it with the right-hand too is OK because 'cross-dominant', but left feels slightly better – so obviously, OBVIOUSLY, if the mouse was on the left the cable wouldn't have so far to go to the PC, or go under the screen shelf, and you know what, the cable doesn't get tangled now it's on the left of the keyboard, but reaching for the mouse to the RIGHT of my keyboard with my LEFT hand is apparently still a STRONGER muscle-memory than my bloody touch-typing muscle-memory is so far, and when it gets there the mouse is missing...
